I started MeerStack because the people who keep the world’s systems running deserve better tools. Today they juggle a dozen products, a dozen bills and a dozen versions of the truth, and at 3 a.m. none of them can say what an outage is costing or how to fix it.
I don’t want to build a good-enough product in this field. I want to build the best one: one platform for monitoring, service management, security, models and robots, with AI that does the investigating so people can make the decisions.
This is the work I want my life to be measured by. If we get it right, a team of five will have the same platform and the same AI as a company of fifty thousand, at a price they can actually afford.
Three things changed at once.
AI can finally do the investigation.
Language models can now read metrics, logs, changes and detections, cite the evidence and propose a reversible fix. The slow part of an incident, working out what happened, can take minutes instead of hours, as long as a person still approves the change.
Production now includes GPUs and tokens.
Teams run models, endpoints and GPU pools next to their services, and sometimes robots next to their racks. The same incident shows up in monitoring, the change queue, security triage and the model endpoint. Separate tools for each make people copy context by hand.
Every minute of downtime has a price.
